1. Using Buildifyx
By creating an account or using Buildifyx, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you use Buildifyx for an organization, you are responsible for having authority to connect the organization’s devices, workspaces, and accounts.
Buildifyx provides a connection, management, and security layer between compatible AI/MCP clients and desktop agents running on devices you control.
2. Account and credential security
You are responsible for keeping your account, email access, password, access tokens, device credentials, and connected AI-client access secure. Notify us promptly if you believe your account or credentials have been compromised.
- Do not share one-time verification codes, password-reset links, token secrets, or device credentials with people who should not control the account.
- Keep account information reasonably accurate and use the service only through credentials you are authorized to use.
- Revoke or rotate credentials when a device or token should no longer have access.
3. Desktop agent and workspace access
The Buildifyx desktop agent runs on your device and can perform file and command operations exposed by its tool and permission configuration. You decide where to run the agent, which workspaces to connect, which workspaces to enable for MCP access, and which local permissions to allow.
You must have the right to access and modify every device, file, repository, workspace, account, and system that you make available through Buildifyx.
4. AI and MCP actions
Buildifyx relays tool requests generated by the AI or MCP client you connect. AI-generated actions can be incorrect, destructive, incomplete, or different from what you intended. Review requests, local permissions, diffs, commands, and important outputs before relying on them.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups, source-control history, testing, and other safeguards for important data and systems. Enabling a tool or permission means an authorized MCP client may request that action within the applicable policy.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Buildifyx to interfere with the service or other users, bypass access controls, or access systems or data without authorization.
- Do not attempt to obtain another user’s credentials, sessions, devices, workspaces, or data.
- Do not probe, overload, disrupt, reverse engineer for abuse, or intentionally circumvent quotas or security controls of the hosted service.
- Do not use Buildifyx to execute unlawful activity or to access a device, workspace, or third-party service without permission.
- Do not use the service in a way that materially degrades availability or security for other users.
6. Plans, recurring billing, and cancellation
Buildifyx may offer Free and paid plans with different device, workspace, token, or usage capacity. Current limits and prices are shown in the product and checkout flow.
Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe and recur according to the monthly or yearly interval you select unless canceled. When a subscription is scheduled to cancel at period end, paid access continues through the applicable current period as reflected by the billing system.
Taxes, currency conversion, payment-method rules, and any refund rights may depend on your location, Stripe, the purchase flow, and applicable law. Contact contact@buildifyx.com if you have a billing question.
7. Third-party services
Buildifyx can interact with services that we do not control, including AI/MCP clients, Stripe, email delivery, hosting infrastructure, package registries, operating systems, shells, source-control tools, and other software installed on your device. Your use of those services remains subject to their own terms, policies, permissions, and availability.
8. Your content and software
You keep your rights in the files, repositories, prompts, commands, outputs, and other content that you own. You grant Buildifyx only the limited permission needed to process and relay data so the service can perform the actions you request.
Buildifyx and its service code, branding, website design, and documentation remain protected by their applicable intellectual-property rights. These terms do not transfer ownership of Buildifyx to you.
9. Service changes and availability
We may update the agent, MCP tools, APIs, plans, limits, user interface, infrastructure, or security requirements as the service evolves. We aim to operate the service reliably, but availability can be affected by maintenance, internet connectivity, third-party outages, local-device state, or security incidents.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Buildifyx and revoke connected credentials at any time. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, connected systems, billing integrity, or security, or when these terms are materially violated. Account deletion may require billing and credential cleanup before it completes.
11. Disclaimers and responsibility
Buildifyx is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee that the service, an AI-generated action, a third-party integration, or a local command will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. You remain responsible for deciding which devices and workspaces to connect and for reviewing high-impact actions before they are executed.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Questions about these terms can be sent to contact@buildifyx.com.
